FAQ
Q: How many sample cards do I have to submit?
A. The quantity varies according to the required test scope. Please contact us with the payment scheme so we can provide more information.
Q: How can I know test scope?
A: In general, if your product is a NEW product, the full test will be required. If your product is a derivate and/or derivative product, the test scope will be decided in accordance with the changed part. Final decision will be made from the payment scheme.
Q: What is an Interoperability (Cross) test?
A: An interoperability (cross) test is a type of compatibility testing. If the card supports contactless functions, the payment scheme may ask you to proceed with interoperability (Cross test). However, every payment scheme has different operations for testing, so please contact us for more details.
Q: What is the difference between Type Approval and Debug?
A: A customer can participate in a debug session and modify and/or tune their samples, but a debug test report will not be used. During a Type Approval session, a customer is not able to join the test but only responsible for the lab. A Type Approval Test Report will be submitted to payment schemes to get a certification.
